Collins Aerospace Joins GPS Innovation Alliance

      Collins Aerospace has joined the GPS Innovation Alliance (GPSIA). The aerospace and defense products supplier joins founding-member companies John Deere, Garmin and Trimble as well as 11 national organizations in GPSIA’s affiliates program. 

      The GPS Innovation Alliance seeks to protect, promote and enhance the use of GPS. GPSIA Executive Director J. David Grossman said that Collins Aerospace will help to heighten awareness of the economic importance and societal benefits of GPS.The alliance supports GPS innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship.

      “GPS technology is vital to Collins Aerospace, enabling us to achieve innovative solutions for the aerospace and defense industries,” said Frank Zane, Collins Aerospace associate director of Business Development, Position, Navigation, Timing (PNT). “We are thrilled to join the GPS Innovation Alliance in their long-standing efforts to ensure the continuous availability, accuracy, reliability, and resiliency of the GPS constellation.”
