[Satellite TODAY 01-13-09] DSD Satellite Systems has released DSD R-Mobile, a fully automated, self-aligning mobile antenna system that delivers two-way high-speed Internet services, the France-based developer announced Jan. 12.
    The DSD R-Mobile system is compatible with a variety of satellite-based Internet providers, including Comtech, EMS, HNS Direcway, iDirect, Nera, Tachyon, ViaSat, Gilat and Starband for global versatility and applications.
    The unit is designed to mount on top of vehicles and other transportable platforms while locking onto a selected satellite. The unit then automatically interfaces with the modem to enable Internet service.
