[Satellite Today 12-10-08] SES Astra signed a reseller agreement with satellite equipment distributor Eurosat for the marketing and sales of Astra2Connect, SES Astra announced Dec. 10.
Eurosat, a developer and supplier of satellite TV and consumer electronics, will market the service under its brand name BeyonDSL in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
“Thousands of households in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland are in terrestrial broadband black spots,” Mike Locke, special projects manager at Eurosat, said in a statement. “That does not only affect rural areas but also city locations, including greater London.”
