Radio Television Brunei (RTB) signed a lease agreement for the use of C-band capacity on the Asiasat 2 satellite, Asia Satellite Telecommunications Co. Ltd. (Asiasat) announced Aug. 30.
RTB will use the capacity for free-to-air distribution of the RTB International channel throughout Asia, Australasia and the Middle East. Broadcasting will begin Sept. 1, with programming provided in both English and Malay.
