According to Interfax The Academician Reshetnev Applied Mechanics Research and Production Association (NPO PM) will deliver a new generation satellite to Iran.

“Under the contract, the project time from the beginning of operations to final acceptance by the client is 30-36 months. The planned service life of the satellite is 15 years,” a spokesman said.

A contract for developing and launching Iran’s Zohreh communication satellite was signed in Tehran on January 30. NPO PM was named as the main subcontractor responsible for developing and designing the satellite and the ground control facility.
