Comtech Receives $4M In Tracking System Orders

      Comtech Telecommunications’ [Nasdaq: CMTL] Maryland-based subsidiary Comtech Mobile Datacom has received $4.0 million in orders relating to its satellite-based movement tracking system, under an existing contract with the U.S. Army. These orders, which include a $2.5 million order for installation, training and support, bring the total orders on the $418 million contract to-date to approximately $88.3 million.

      The orders are for both equipment and services. The equipment orders are for mobile satellite transceivers and related hardware, as well as installation kits. The remaining orders are for installation, training and support activities in Kuwait, Iraq and selected Army bases in the United States.
