SES has won a new deal in the cruise sector, a key target vertical for the company. SES announced Tuesday that it has signed a new agreement to provide high-speed satellite-based connectivity services to the newest landmark ship of an unnamed “leading family cruise line,” but did not reveal any further details.

The new agreement will aim to enable a seamless internet connectivity experience for guests taking away their worry about their consuming large amounts of data at considerable expense. Passengers will be able to purchase new unlimited internet access plans by leveraging SES’s O3b mPOWER network.
