Speedcast to Upgrade Equipment and Networks for Schlumberger

Speedcast International has been awarded multi-year contracts in multiple countries to enhance existing global services for Schlumberger, an oilfield services provider.

The improvements include equipment and network upgrades leveraging modem and terminal technologies in countries such as Pakistan, China, Australia, and New Zealand. Speedcast will also upgrade technology for sites in Latin America, as well as secure network upgrades and and provide new services in the Gulf of Mexico, Southeast Asia, Europe, Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa.The two companies have been working together for over 10 years in challenging remote and harsh environments.
