[Satellite TODAY 11-19-09] Yahsat subsidiary Star Satellite Communications has entered into a cooperative agreement with of satellite-based Internet services provider IEC Telecom to distribute the YahClick satellite broadband service, the company announced Nov. 19.
    IEC Telecom will roll out the YahClick service to 24 countries in Africa, Middle East and Southwest Asia. IEC Telecom will provide YahClick service to enterprise customers such as NGOs, oil and gas and other multinational companies.
    “There are many people and enterprises not having the equal chances in terms of connecting instantly to the world. Together we want to change this and the YahClick service is the most advanced and promising answer to this paradigm shift,” said Erwan Emilian, CEO of IEC Telecom Group, in a statement.
