Second Wind will integrate Globalstar’s GSP-1620 modem into wind measurement systems and data loggers used to collect data such as wind speeds and other weather-related information.

The data will be delivered to Second Wind’s SkyServe server using the Globalstar satellite network. The data is made available to customers such as wind farm operators, forecasters and meteorologists.
