Eagle Broadband Breaks Ground On Headend, Satellite Farm
Eagle Broadband, provider of broadband, Internet protocol (IP) and communications technology and services, announced Sept. 22 that it began construction of its headend and satellite farm at Newcom International in Miami.
According to Eagle Broadband, the headend operation will collect signals from more than 30 satellites to deliver a range of content from more than 250 cable channels.
The headend is expected for completion by Oct. 1, when Eagle Broadband will roll out its IPTVcomplete service to include direct access to more than 250 channels using a mix of standard-definition and high-definition set-top boxes.
