Planetlink Communications Inc. will supply 27 GPS receivers to lumber distributor R&R Sales Group, Planetlink announced July 10. R&R signed an agreement in May to use Planetlinks asset tracking service, dubbed Planettraks, and the order brings the total number of units ordered by R&R to 104.
“Since the inception of our agreement with R&R we have exceeded our projected revenues for May and June,” Mary Hitt, Planetlink’s chief financial officer, said in a statement. “Based on the success of R&R, we intend to continue adding new sales teams over the rest of the year to bring us closer to profitability by the end of fiscal year 2006.”
