Com Dev International Ltd. announced March 8 that it won contracts by Northrop Grumman to begin production of beam select subsystems and switch assemblies for use in the third Advanced Extremely High Frequency satellite for the U.S. Department of Defense. The follow-on award falls under a contract first announced in May 2002. The total work on the satellite program is expected to generate about $5.7 million in revenues for Com Dev by the time of its planned completion at the end of fiscal 2007.
