Gilat Satellite Networks CEO Shlomo Rodav is confident the company is in a position to derive strong revenue growth in the next few years. In its last full year results released earlier this month, the company announced that revenues for 2004 were $241.5 million, a 20 percent increased compared to 2003. Gilat is a provider of satellite and hybrid telecommunication solutions and operations.

In terms of future growth, Rodav told Satellite Today, “Gilat is very well positioned for extensive growth in the coming years. As a provider of technology and solutions, we believe we will be positioned as the vendor of choice for all operators, service providers and organizations whom would be interested in quality, reliability, versatility and depth of capabilities at an affordable price.”

He continued, “In addition, as a service provider we will be positioned as the world leader independent and managed network operator of small and medium sized, global and regional satellite and hybrid networks with special requirements.
