      • German satellite pay-TV operator Premiere announced a positive set of third-quarter results, underlining the operator’s strengthening position in the German pay-TV market. The operator saw total revenues for the nine months to Sept. 30 increase to $928.8 million, an increase of more than 7 percent compared with the first nine months of 2003. Premiere now has more than three million subscribers, an increase of close to 10 percent year over year. In another key announcement, the operator is preparing for an IPO in 2005, filing an application with the Munich Commercial Register to register Premiere AG as a new holding company for all its operating business units.
      • NDS announced its third-quarter results this week. Revenues for the quarter ending Sept 30 stood at $159.7 million, an increase year over year from $96.6 million.
