RT Logic, a wholly owned subsidiary of Integral Systems Inc. [ISYS], received a contract from DigitalGlobe Inc. valued at more than $2.5 million to aid in DigitalGlobe’s efforts to upgrade its remote ground terminals and it mission-control station to support the new WorldView satellite, scheduled to launch no later than 2006. According to DigitalGlobe, WorldView will be the world’s only commercial satellite to photograph the Earth at 50-centimeter resolution. The satellite’s higher orbit of nearly 800 kilometers will allow it to revisit collection areas more frequently, allowing customers to repeat their image acquisitions about once a day.
