UK cable operator Telewest is looking to put the pressure on satellite pay-TV operator BSkyB by revamping its digital TV packages in the UK market. The cable company is launching a new marketing campaign, which for the first time is specifically targeting Sky premium channel subscribers. According to Telewest, consumers that sign up to its ‘Essential TV Pack’ with either Sky Sports or Movies, together with one of its unlimited phone services, can save 25 percent compared the equivalent services from Sky.
