DirecTV Inc. [DTV] will begin offering local channels to its direct-to-home satellite television broadcasting service subscribers in the Charlestown, S.C.; the Greenville-New Bern, N.C.; and the Toledo and Youngstown, Ohio, markets “later this year.” The company did not disclose the specific local affiliates that will become part of the package. Customers will be provided with a free second dish to receive those local channels.
