Last Friday, Lockheed Martin [LMT] celebrated the assembly of the final Atlas II rocket (an Atlas IIAS configuration). The Atlas II series has been used in 61 missions during a 13-year period with a 100-percent success rate. The final Atlas II rockets should launch from Cape Canaveral June 30.
