Foxtel, the Australian pay-TV operator, is expecting its new digital service will prove to be popular among the country’s consumers.

Patrick Delany, Foxtel’s director of digital, said the company’s new offering would prove popular among consumers in Australia. The operator is set to launch the new digital service in the first half of this year. Delany told Satellite Today: “I hope that in the next seven months we will have launched and put some significant marketing dollars in. So, there will be no one who does not know about Foxtel. So, I hope we are in a position of our major problem being meeting demand. That is what I hope will happen in the next seven months.”
