Marlink has launched new Regional Broadband Global Area Network (Regional BGAN) service, which offers always on IP connectivity at data speeds of up to 144 Kbps via a secure channel. The service, which uses Inmarsat‘s mobile satellites, is available in Europe, Asia, and northern and central Africa. Marlink offers its Regional BGAN users’ access to a dedicated leased line from Telenor Satellite Services.
