Tiscali has expanded its interactive high-speed Internet service via satellite to Finland and Slovakia. With this extension, the Tiscali two-way satellite service is now available in 10 European countries.

Using the Satlynx satellite system, Tiscali provides two-way satellite broadband connectivity services to consumers, small office/home office and small and medium-sized enterprises throughout most of Europe, as part of its Internet access portfolio. Satlynx is a joint venture owned by SES Global [Luxembourg: SESG], Gilat Satellite Networks [Nasdaq: GILTF] and Alcatel [NYSE: ALA].
