Sirius To Offer $125 Million In Senior Notes
Sirius Satellite Radio [Nasdaq: SIRI], a Washington, D.C.-based satellite radio broadcaster, announced its intention to offer $125 million worth of convertible senior notes. Morgan Stanley and UBS Warburg will serve asunderwriters for the notes. They will have the option to purchase an additional $18.75 million worth of notes. Terms of the offering are subject to market conditions.
Also, Sirius said that beginning in June it will offer the “plug & play” a portable satellite radio system, which allows listeners to hear Sirius in the car, the home, the office, or anywhere.
