Neo Space Group is acquiring in-flight entertainment provider Display Interactive in a move to strengthen its position in the in-flight connectivity (IFC) market.

Display Interactive is based in Paris and works with SES, Inmarsat (now Viasat), Airbus, and airlines like Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, and Air France.

The two companies have collaborated since 2023 and last year introduced Skywaves, a traffic management platform to route traffic between networks and orchestrate multi-orbit satellite connectivity. NSG said that by integrating the company’s technology and product portfolio it will be able to offer customers a unified IFC solution with traffic management and its SkyFly end-user portal.

NSG’s IFC system routes traffic across multiple satellite providers and is supported by the SES Open Orbits network

“The IFC sector is evolving rapidly, and remaining competitive requires a strong customer focus, continuous innovation, and adaptability. Acquiring DI strengthens our ability to deliver cutting-edge connectivity solutions while ensuring passengers enjoy an unparalleled in-flight experience with seamless connectivity, high-speed internet, and real-time entertainment and communication,” commented NSG CEO Martijn Blanken.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
