Under the agreement, Hughes, supporting through its partner, ADS, will integrate communications systems in support of the Coast Guard’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief (HADR) missions requiring airborne Communications-on-the-Move (COTM)

Hughes will provide satcom integration for the missionized C-27J aircraft to connect mobile units across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Pacific Ocean.
