Through a partnership with Viasat, Finnair has launched a new high-speed internet service on its narrow-body Airbus fleet on European flights. From today onwards, Finnair customers will enjoy in-flight internet connectivity.

The high-speed in-flight internet service has already been installed on six aircraft, with projected installation of 20 aircraft by the end of the summer. The entire narrow-body Airbus fleet will be connected by summer 2019.

Finnair will be inviting its customers to test the service free of charge during the testing period, which runs for two months. During this testing period, Finnair will generate information on system functionality and feedback on the overall customer experience.
