The Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV), the government agency tasked with defending the country of Sweden and its interests, has awarded UltiSat a prime contract to provide satellite bandwidth in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and Afghanistan.

UltiSat is one of four awardees of an FMV agreement for satellite capacity over International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) Region 1 for the period encompassing 2017 through 2020. Under this agreement, UltiSat will provide C-band and Ku-band satellite capacity to enable Internet Protocol (IP) connectivity for forward-deployed FMV troops. UltiSat will implement and operate this project by leveraging its global network and service infrastructure, and its Secure Network Operations Center (SNOC).

UltiSat supports U.S. government and federal agencies as a partner of secure managed network solutions, such as its recent award from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide C-band and Ku-band bandwidth capacity to the U.S. Air Force.
