Ajit Pai, head of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) said in a blog post this week that the FCC will vote on providing 4 GHz of spectrum exclusively for satellite use on Nov. 16. The spectrum would be separate from another 1,700 MHz made available for terrestrial wireless use, he said.
