[Satellite TODAY 12-03-11] Globalstar has entered into an agreement with John M. Shay, Jr., to provide professional accounting and finance advisory services to the company. Globalstar announced the collaboration Dec. 1.

    Shay will assume many of the day-to-day functions previously performed by the company’s former CFO. The consulting agreement extends from Dec. 19 through the filing date of the company’s first quarter 2012 Form 10-Q.
