[Satellite TODAY 03-09-11] Maritime satellite communications company Ship Equip opened an office in Rotterdam, Netherlands, due to an increase in activity in the Central European region, the company announced March 8.
The company said its steady growth of customers in the region as well as the high number of ships calling by Rotterdam as a destination or en route, motivated the company to carry out installation and maintenance on the new facility.
The company said its Rotterdam office primarily will handle service issues but will expand to other activities as new business develops.
