[Satellite TODAY 01-26-11] Energia Logistics, which is responsible for all aspects of satellite integration and launch operations for Sea Launch Zenit-3SL missions, named Kirk Pysher COO, Energia announced Jan. 25.
Pysher will lead an operations and engineering team in support of Energia Logistics’ charter to manage hardware production, provide engineering services and deliver launch services to Sea Launch AG and its customers.
Pysher previously served as Boeing’s vice president and chief systems engineer of Sea Launch before Energia took over management of the launch company following its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
