[Satellite Today 07-16-09] Harris Corp. has introduced a new version of its XTCE database converter for its OS/Comet satellite command and control product line, the company announced July 15.
The upgraded XTCE version 1.1 database converter aims to enhance the ability for OS/Comet users to translate databases in XTCE, a data exchange specification originated by the Object Management Group, to OS/Comet source files for real-time operations.
OS/Comet is an off-the-shelf satellite control product designed for government and commercial use that provides telemetry, tracking, and commanding capabilities.
