Firefly’s New R&D Center Features Largest 3-D Printer in Ukraine

Firefly Aerospace, a Texas-basedsmall- to medium-satellite launch vehicle developer, has opened a new research and development center in the city of Dnipro, Ukraine.

The new center will be named FireFly Ukraine. The company stated that the facility would expand its engineering teams’ capability to design and manufacture original launch vehicle and systems components. Firefly Ukraine  will be home to more than 150 employees and equipped with the largest 3D-printer in Ukraine, which will be used for industrial manufacturing of high-quality metal parts.
