[4/5/07] Arianespace will launch the latest D-series satellite for Optus in 2009 on a Soyuz launcher, Arianespace announced April 4.
The new satellite will increase Optus’overall investment in the D-series satellite program to more than Australian $600 million ($484 million).
Arianespace placed Optus D-1 into orbit in October 2006 and is scheduled to launch Optus D-2 later this year.
