Space Systems/Loral selected Ampac-ISP Corp. to supply thrusters for the Telstar 11N communications satellite, the first commercial mission for the thrusters. The thrusters, which will be used for orbit insertion and station keeping, will be delivered between November and April. The contract includes additional thrusters for an upcoming program.

Telstar 11N, being built for Loral Skynet, will carry Ku-band transponders to provide service across North and Central America, Europe, Africa and the maritime Atlantic Ocean Region from its orbital slot at 37.5º West. The satellite is scheduled to be launched in the second quarter of 2008.
