Swe-Dish Satellite Systems is taking the wraps off its new FA150K Lite fly-away terminal. The FA150K Lite is a rugged, quick set-up portable earth station with a 1.5m elliptical Gregorian offset antenna. Despite its size, the FA150K can be disassembled into components that pack neatly into airline checkable cases. Once on site, the FA150K can be deployed quickly without using tools. The FA150K Lite can support broadband traffic at speeds from 64 kbps to 60 Mbps, and will support various types of services including IP.
