XM Satellite Radio plans to air highlights from its coverage of the July 2 Live 8 concerts, the company announced July 6.
Beginning July 9 and running for three consecutive weekends, XM will air performances from Live 8 concerts as well as interviews and commentary. The Live 8 Replay Weekends will run for 48 hours, from midnight Saturday through midnight Sunday, on XM Live and will cover performances from all of the Live 8 concerts held around the globe.X M also will launch four days of coverage of the 2005 Major League Baseball All-Star Week from Detroit beginning July 9. Coverage, which culminates with the July 12 game, will be provided on multiple channels, including a Spanish-language broadcast.
