Com Dev International Ltd. said it received orders for the supply of the company’s core Switch, ancillaries and multiplexer products for communications satellites being built by Space Systems/Loral. The products will be incorporated into the Intelsat Americas 9, EchoStar 11 and Galaxy 18 programs. The value of the contracts is $9 million.

“The award of these contracts follows an expected weak first quarter order period,” Com Dev CEO John Keating said in a prepared statement. “[The company’s] negotiations activities remained high and these orders reflect some of the positive results of these negotiations.”
