According to the 2004 J.D. Power And Associates Residential Cable/Satellite TV Customer Satisfaction Study, released today, satellite television subscription services received a higher overall customer satisfaction (723 on a 1,000-point scale) compared to cable television subscription services (621 on a 1,000-point scale). Of the 13 satellite and cable companies that were covered by the survey, EchoStar Communications Corp.’s [DISH] Dish Network ranked highest in the customer-satisfaction survey, followed by The DirecTV Group’s [DTV] DirecTV service.
