Boeing (NYSE: BA) has selected Alcatel Space, a unit of Paris-based Alcatel [NYSE: ALA] to supply a multi-million payload for a satellite Boeing is build for XM Satellite Radio [Nasdaq: XMSR]. The payload will be built at Alcatel Space’s facility in Toulouse and then integrated on a Boeing 702 platform at its facility in El Segundo, Calif. XM provides 100 channels of digital satellite radio throughout the continental United States.
