Americom Government Services (AGS) and Japan’s JSAT Corp. (JSAT) have signed a business collaboration agreement to support each company’s pursuit and execution of U.S. government-related satellite-based communications services in the Asia-Pacific region. Based on the agreement, JSAT will support AGS in securing contracts for U.S. government- related services by providing transponder capacity.

Dean Olmstead, president and CEO of AGS parent SES Americom, said, “With this most recent agreement, we are adding another building block to the long cooperative relationship between SES and JSAT.”
