Gatehouse Satcom and Rohde & Schwarz have formalized a collaboration on 5GN non-terrestrial network (NTN) testing, combining Gatehouse’s 5G NTN software expertise and Rohde & Schwarz’s testing capabilities.
The companies announced Monday that Gatehouse Satcom will have access to the Rohde & Schwarz CMX500 platform to develop advanced orbit and channel emulation capabilities for NTN use cases. In addition, Gatehouse Satcom will provide end-to-end NTN test results, technical insight, and engineering feedback so that Rohde & Schwarz can strengthen its NTN-focused test capabilities for the wider market.
The aim is to support faster validation cycles, earlier identification of system-level issues, and stronger test conditions.
