Via TV: ViaLite Exec Chats New Technology and Challenges

      The International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) this year was a hotbed for new satellite technology, as companies showcased their latest products. Given the state of the satellite market and the potential for new Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellations — which could lead to huge numbers of satellites of going into orbit over the next few years — it is an exciting time for technology companies.

      Additionally, this time will present a number of challenges to companies like ViaLite Communications, which designs and manufactures RF over fiber links and systems.

      In this interview, Richard Jacklin, director of sales at ViaLite Communications talks about the impact of the LEO market on companies like ViaLite, as well as talking about some of the new technology the company is showcasing as it looks to build a strong business over the next few years.
