Iceye and KT SAT have a new strategic partnership to offer flood monitoring solutions in South Korea to government and commercial organizations. This marks the first deployment of Iceye Solutions in South Korea.
Under the agreement announced Thursday, KT SAT will use Iceye Solutions products and offer a suite of GIS-ready data solutions for the South Korean market, including flood monitoring and land subsidence monitoring. The Korean government will use Iceye’s Flood Rapid Impact solution during the country’s annual monsoon season.
The partners also expect to support local government agencies and commercial customers with satellite data solutions for emergency management, environmental monitoring, and resilience planning.
“Iceye is positioned to become a key provider of real-time intelligence during South Korea’s most severe flood events,” said Joowhan Lee, senior sales manager at KT SAT. “By combining our satellite capabilities with KT SAT’s local expertise, we can help organizations make faster, more informed decisions when every minute matters.”
