[Satellite TODAY 08-11-11] German satellite technology developer RF Design has introduced a new series of RF line-amplifiers covering L-band and IF frequency ranges, the company announced Aug. 10.
The RLA250 series features compact 1:1 redundant line-amplifiers designed for distribution networks where accurate RF power and highest stability and availability are necessary. The amplifiers are equipped with two amplifiers providing a maximum gain of 25 decibels and feature RF in- and output monitoring, adjustable gain, LNB supply and power-supply redundancy.
“The RLA250 amplifiers are the logical supplement of the former RLA230 amplifier series that is in use with major satellite and teleport operators around the globe. This amplifier is ideally suited for usage and integration in teleports, satellite Earth stations, up- and downlink stations, broadcasters and cable TV operator systems,” RF Design said in a company statement.
