[Satellite TODAY 05-05-11] The Cable & Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) elected three new members to its board of directors, the organization announced May 4.
Discovery Networks Executive Vice President and Managing Director Tom Keaveny, PCCW Executive Vice President Janice Lee and Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific President and Managing Director Steve Marcopoto will join the region’s influential broadcast board.
“As the premiere voice of multi-channel television in Asia, CASBAA relies on its seasoned Board of Directors for guidance and influence in this region’s dynamic market. Keaveny, Lee and Marcopoto represent unparalleled knowledge of multi-channel TV in Asia providing additional insights and direction for the association to promote the growth of pay-TV and video content across the region,” CASBAA Chairman Marcel Fenez said in a statement.
