[Satellite TODAY 05-05-11] Vizada has consolidated all of its voice traffic into a single global voice carrier platform, Vizada Global Voice, as of May 1, the company announced May 4.
    The company said the Vizada Global Voice initiative was developed to provide a stronger voice focus and a single point of contact together with a broader reach for both retail and wholesale customers and to enhance the level of service without any service interruption during its application.
    Vizada Global Voice brings together the voice carrier functions of Vizada EMEAA, Vizada Americas, Vizada Networks, Marlink and TDCOM. The service will be routed over Vizada’s own IP backbone and voice gateways. Vizada also said the Global Voice platform will enable the company to terminate all Inmarsat prefixes directly through Vizada’s own and operated Earth stations in addition to the company’s premium direct VSAT routes in Africa and the Middle East.
