[Satellite TODAY 03-30-11] Mobile auto-deploying satellite antenna supplier C-Com Satellite Systems saw its 2010 full-year revenues increase 14.4 percent to $10.4 million, backed by a 57.6 percent operational profit boost to $2.8 million, the company announced in its latest financial results, issued March 29.
C-Com said it generated higher revenues while reducing its sales costs by 2.7 percent compared with its 2009 results. The company saw sufficient investment tax credits and research and developments costs to reduce its tax liability to zero for its fiscal year, which ended Nov. 30.
C-Com President and CEO Leslie Klein said the company enjoyed its 27th consecutive profitable fiscal period in the fourth quarter of 2010. “The growth and profitability during fiscal year 2010 are largely attributable to the worldwide acceptance and corresponding increase in sales of our iNetVu Mobile auto-deploying antenna systems, particularly to the oil and gas exploration sector worldwide. Our customer base for these products has been steadily increasing and continues to significantly contribute to our revenue growth,” he said in a statement.
