[Satellite TODAY 06-01-10] BSkyB has released its Sky Mobile TV app for the Apple iPad in the United Kingdom, the pay-TV operator announced May 28.
The iPad, released in the United Kingdom May 28, will offer BSkyB’s mobile TV service and offers access to all Sky Sports channels and Sky News. The operator said it created the app to take advantage of the increased screen size offered by the new device.
Subscription to Sky Mobile TV for iPad is currently 6 pounds ($8.71) a month for existing Sky TV and Sky Player TV customers who take Sky Sports and 35 pounds ($50.80) a month for all other customers.
