[Satellite TODAY 09-22-09] The U.S. District Court of Maryland has preliminarily approved a settlement in a shareholder lawsuit filed against Integral Systems, the company announced Sept. 21.
    The lawsuit was filed in July after the shareholder filing the complaint previously submitted a demand letter to the company’s board in February. Details of the lawsuit and settlement amount were not disclosed.
    Integral Systems said it anticipates final resolution of this action soon. “We are pleased that we are making progress in resolving this outstanding matter, and we are looking forward to a resolution so that we may focus our attention on the growth of the company and delivering value to our customers and shareholders,” Integral Systems CEO Paul Casner said in a statement.
